It is honestly exhausting to sit through another terrible series like this. I have noticed the same group of actors popping up in several of these subpar Filipino BL projects before, and they just don't seem to get any better. The production value is bottom-tier, the acting is painful to watch, and there is hardly enough plot here to even justify calling it a show. I get that a lot of these were made as passion projects during or right after the pandemic, but it is 2026 now, and there is just no excuse for this kind of poor execution. It really should have just been a quick short film instead of stretching it out. At least it only has six episodes that run about 15 minutes each, so you can fly through it pretty fast if you’re unlucky enough to start it. The plot is about as basic as it gets. We follow a guy named Sam who is stuck in a major emotional rut. He has been in a steady, loving relationship for years, but he can't stop obsessing over his ex, Travis. Apparently, Travis ...
Bad and horrible aren't even the worst of words to describe how awful this series was. A sequel of a show (that wasn't great in the first place) that no one asked for. Its so bad. Its like someone in production made a list of things they should do in the show and then another list of things they shouldn't do and they accidentally used the shouldn't do list. What terrible waste of money, actors and most importantly viewers. The show has 9 episodes of 40 minutes each. Also I just realized while I was writing this is that this series is actually a sequel the movie of same name which had same actors and not to the series that I had seen. Honestly I don't even remember watching the film, but it turns out I did see it almost 8-9 years back. None of these factors, however, change the fact on how bad this show is.
The show starts with us that when Bank and Golf's parents were against their relationship, somehow Golf faked his death and has been "dead" for 5 years. Bank has never forgotten the love and sacrifice from his step-brother. On the day of his graduation from a university in Chiang Mai, Bank found out that Golf is actually still alive. The two brothers will finally meet again with many unanswered questions during those five years, in a time where society has changed. And their new and old friends are ready to help them grow their love tree again.
The biggest problem o the show is that the makers tried to cash in on the popularity of the movie and its actors, but th show focuses barely 10 minutes on each episode on Bank/Golf. Rather we are tortured by innumerable side stories that are all cringeworthy, badly acted and frankly just irritating. Nobody cared about any of the side couples, none of their stories were deep enough to make us want to care. It leaves little to be desired as the entire series seems to only be leveraged on the movie’s title and the directorship and storytelling was absolutely bad. I am so irritated and annoyed at not having wasted maytime, but also the fact that how can some makers be so clueless of what a bad product they are making. And what a waste of one of my noticeable actors (remembering P'Dean) here. If anyone still goes and watches this show, I really don't know what to say. If you really hate someone make them binge-watch this show without letting them fast forward anything. Now that would be a torture or revenge. (1/10)
