Let's just cut right to it, this show was painfully boring. There, I said it. A story built around partial amnesia has real potential, but between the choppy scene structure and random flashbacks thrown in constantly, the whole plot ends up feeling more tangled than it needed to be. The romance doesn't fare much better either, it's written so poorly that I never really found myself invested in this couple. Both leads come across stiff on screen and deliver their lines in a really awkward way. The show runs 8 episodes, each somewhere around 30 to 35 minutes. Hanuel, a 29 year old language teacher, wakes up after an accident only to realize his memory stops at age 19. It turns out he'd been in another accident back then too, which is why his memories cut off at that point. He has zero recollection of the fact that he's currently living with his childhood friend Saebyeok, who's now a huge celebrity. That makes the whole situation even harder for Hanuel to wrap his ...
6 episodes of about 6 minutes each. Min and Suho are wannabe idols. They were not only friends but lovers at one time. Something happened to break them up which I never fully understood. Su Ho went on to form a group, leaving Min behind. Somehow they are thrown back together again and are literally forced to reconcile, forcing both to confront unresolved resentment and deep-seated heartache. There is mention of Min's abusive alcoholic father. This was one of the most confusing mini series I have seen where a lot just did not make sense at all and we, as audience are never given enough context on what the hell is actually going on. Completely avoidable.
6 episodes of about 8 minutes each. A classic story of couples not dong clear open communication. A couple has been together for 10 years and very much in love. When one of them starts to have secret phone calls and find excuses to leave, the other starts to become suspicious and thinks that he is having an affair. It doesn't help that he sees his partner with one of their common friends laughing and enjoying and thinks that they are about to break up. But when he gets a surprise on his birthday, which also happens to bother 10th anniversary, I when he realize that his boyfriend was planning for a surprise party. This series was just not needed honestly and don't waste your time watching this.
3 episodes of 7 minutes each. It was a simple love story between a cafe owner and one his employees. The show quickly shows us how they got together an dhow the staff recounts events to his roommate. The acting is just average and it feels like someone just made it out of boredom from their home. Extremely basic. Looks like this post is going to be mostly about mini-series not to watch and waste your time. Avoid!
2 season 2 episodes each of total about 45-50 minutes. Yuki is an uptight, unassuming accountant who works at a corporate office. His quiet life gets completely flipped upside down by Shota Sakurai, an energetic and handsome colleague. The twist? Shota secretly works as a host in his off-hours, blending a buttoned-up corporate dynamic with the flirtatious, aggressive charm of a high-end host. The bite size episodes was a good idea butane overall the show is so damn boring. There is absolutely nothing about this that holds your interest.
4 episodes of about 11 minutes each. An anonymous stranger saves Do Yun from a career-ending crisis. When the mystery savior turns out to be Ji Hyeok, the privileged rookie he despises the most, it sparks a tense and complicated office romance. This was decent but not very interesting for me. Also it's so annoying when the story is left mid-way. Clearly the makes are trying to excite audience for next part or season or whatever but honestly I am not impressed.
6 episodes of 8-9 minutes each. Two step brothers live together and older brother is very used to taking care of the younger one. Th younger one harbors a secret crush on the older brother and thinks of him sexually, but the older one is straight and has a girlfriend. Younger one tries to break them apart but when he sees his brother sad, he makes sure to reunite them and move out. The older brother realizes that he too very much loves his brother but only platonically. The pacing is quite fast and the narrative lacks emotional stakes, and it’s difficult to feel genuinely invested in the characters.
4 episodes of 8 minutes each. A gay couple has been together for 7 years but they are starting to grow apart, so much so that one of them forgets their major anniversary and comes home drunk. The other guy feels neglected and thinks that the distance between them is growing apart. Only towards the end they actually talk to each other and sort things out. I couldn't connect much with the story, because you have been together for 7years and have not really learnt to communicate. One mistake around anniversary, and you are ready to break up? Just talk and communicate with each other.
4 episodes of 10 mins each. A straight forward short which shows how two guy meet, get to know each other and eventually fall in love. Their respective close friends also like them but neither says anything for fear of friendship. It's short, to the point and no bad drama, no bad ex gf, no bitching, no heated discussions, nothing. It's just a mellow story of a couple coming together. Quite basic (supposedly prequel to the story of 'Love Reset'.
4 episodes of 10 minutes each. This mini series is more of a bromance. The boys hold hands, half hug, and look like they're about to kiss, but we never see it. I dont remember seeing part 1 or maybe I did. The premise is very basic. Two friends have been very close since childhood and now they have started to live together. One is rich and other is poor. When poor guy's boss's affection leads to jealousy for the other guy who's mother keep insisting that he get married. She also asks the roommate to get his own house otherwise her son will never be able to live on his own. We also have a lesbian couple. This was extremely boring.
3 episodes of about 7 minutes each. A young guy is introvert and spends time home coding and just. Talking to his AI assistant mostly. A friend of his keeps trying to get him out for drinks and hangout and sometimes he goes. When a new Ai physical companion assistant is released, het gets him and son they also begin a physical relationship. But the assistant is really a robot, so it will never have human feelings which start to annoy our boy. It's then this assistant that makes him realize that maybe it's his friend who makes him feel special. When he confronts his friend, he confesses that he likes him and is in love with him. Easy watch.
6 episodes of about 10 minutes each. Geon Woo is a celebrity but stays very much to himself after a childhood trauma where his father kidnapped him. He is also being stalked by someone for a while. He also has an estranged relationship with his younger brother, who has been best friends with Jae Yeon, since childhood. Both are very close, and he has feelings for Jae Yeon. But when Jae Yeon gets an opportunity to interview Geon Woo, unknown to them both, they slowly start to get closer with the celebrity finally feeling that he can confide in someone. Seeing them both together, the younger brother confesses his feelings for his friend but assures him that they will always be friends. Jae Yeon then also helps the two brother reconcile not just with each other but also with their estranged father. Pretty average standard show IMO.
8 episodes of about 6-10 minutes. Kim Dojin and Lee Jaewon meet in university after a few years of staying apart. Turns out they were classmates in high school. When Dojin got bad grades in school m the teacher mad him pair with Jaewon. Although neither high school student was thrilled about the situation, they gradually came to enjoy each other's company. The quick episodes are all about the two becoming close, developed feelings, separated without properly resolving what happened between them, and eventually have to confront a first love that neither has completely left behind. This is one of those show that can be developed further. The two leads are charming and sexy and although we have seen all of it before, and we will see it again. But chemistry can make an old story feel surprisingly new.
6 episodes of about 10 minutes each. The story is about a guesthouse manager and a business executive. The main character runs a cozy guesthouse by the beach. One day, the owner shows up and announces his plans to sell the unprofitable business. Before the sale can take place, the two men accidentally swap souls in an accident. Now, they must adjust to their new identities and get used to life as somebody else. In their swapped bodies they stat seeing things fro the other person's perspective and slowly, as you would expect, love starts to bloom as well. When the swapped owner finally decides to not sell hit and genuinely confesses his love for the other person and place, they kiss and their souls are swapped back. Both leads are charming, bringing the characters to life with their quirky personalities. And the goofiness and the silliness of it all actually works.
6 episodes of about 10 minutes each. This series about a writer and a musician who become roommates. The main character has been an aspiring author for years, but he feels frustrated by his lack of success. Recently, a new tenant has moved into the room next door. His noisy music is disturbing the peace in the middle of the night. The protagonist chooses to confront him, only to be surprised by the romantic sparks between them. There is no chemistry though I can see the writing trying to establish their connection and I appreciate the actors committing to the kiss scenes, but it looks awkward and doesn't need to go on for so long. This series can totally be avoided. Even with such short duration, it is a complete waste of time.
6 episodes of about 10 minutes each. This tells the story of Jihan, a rookie grim reaper who accidentally creates a massive glitch on his very first death list mission. The celestial tracking code glitches, targeting two completely different human men at the exact same time. Forced to fix this catastrophic paperwork mistake, Jihan descends to the human realm and disguises himself as an ordinary school student to closely investigate the two targets. However, his mission becomes complicated when he gets deeply entangled in their daily human lives. Jihan finds himself falling in love with one of the humans, Lee Hyun-jun, pushing him to break the sacred taboos of the underworld. Ultimately, the series follows this dangerous, forbidden romance as a clumsy supernatural deity risks his own existence and tries to rewrite fate to save the human he loves. Interesting concept but goes downhill eventually.
