If you've been following along with these Japanese Pink films, you already know the deal. An hour of simulated gay sex, a little story baked in, and a premise that's completely ridiculous but somehow keeps you watching. This one goes all in on the body swap fantasy, basically asking the question, what if you woke up one day inside your hot friend's body and could finally act out everything you've been keeping to yourself? Atsushi is gay and has been quietly carrying a crush on his childhood friend Yuma for years. They fell out of touch but end up back in each other's lives when they wind up at the same company. Yuma is straight and has a girlfriend, though things between them aren't exactly great. Then one day, after some kind of signing strike, the two men swap bodies, and suddenly Yuma is walking around in Atsushi's skin and Atsushi is living inside the guy he's been fantasizing about forever. Atsushi wastes zero time taking full advantage, fooling aro...
You know what's worse than a bad film? The fact that the makers think they they are making some sort of a classic and truly believe that and expects the audience to buy into that bullshit. Even the film is merely 70 minutes in duration, it is already 60 minutes more than the length it actually should be for whatever useless nonsense it is trying to say.
Andrew arrives from US to Panama in hopes of reconnecting with an old friend Oliver. They are both married to women, but clearly have some attraction. Andrew shows up unannounced and forces Oliver to go for a boys retreat to a resort. The duo drink and hike and in their conversations we find that clearly Oliver harbors unrequited feelings for Andrew which were dashed when he got married and Andrew even though knowing about it, plays around with his feelings. After ingesting a hallucinogenic drug Andrew purchased called “Oasis”, the plot takes an unexpected turn that leaves the audience marginally intrigued, slightly titillated but a bit confused.
This movie has absolutely nothing to offer. It has extremely bad actors, no story, awful direction, look and feel of a documentary, random bickering and arguments that go suddenly from level 0 to level 10 for no apparent reason. I am not sure of the director was going for some sort of self hatred about being in closet and living a straight life but the story and characters are too shallow and superficial to evoke any sort of feelings and impact. No one should have to waste their time on crap like this, where the characters go for a day os hiking using duffel bags. (0/10)
