If you've been following along with these Japanese Pink films, you already know the deal. An hour of simulated gay sex, a little story baked in, and a premise that's completely ridiculous but somehow keeps you watching. This one goes all in on the body swap fantasy, basically asking the question, what if you woke up one day inside your hot friend's body and could finally act out everything you've been keeping to yourself? Atsushi is gay and has been quietly carrying a crush on his childhood friend Yuma for years. They fell out of touch but end up back in each other's lives when they wind up at the same company. Yuma is straight and has a girlfriend, though things between them aren't exactly great. Then one day, after some kind of signing strike, the two men swap bodies, and suddenly Yuma is walking around in Atsushi's skin and Atsushi is living inside the guy he's been fantasizing about forever. Atsushi wastes zero time taking full advantage, fooling aro...
This 4 part Thai BL series is one of the three stories featured as part of 'En of Love' franchise. I am really hoping that this story is not an indication of what is to come because that will be a problem. The story is beyond basic, with some the worst actors sans any charisma whatsoever, dull characters and boring interactions. (Tossara refers ti the hashtag that the couple gets from their last names)
Gun is a popular medical student. He has a crush on Bar, an engineering student who comes to swimming a lot. Gun knows about it and is always print to watch him although he never makes a move. One day, when Bar loses a personal memento at the pool and posts online message seeking to retrieve it, Gun makes contact with his and confesses his love without hesitation and asks his permission to pursue him. Reluctantly Bar agrees, much to the amusement of his engineering friends. But Gun is persistent. He constantly shows up everywhere, determined to make Bar notice him. Eventually they start warming up and soon the duo start a relationship. Towards the end we also meet Mark, who has an obvious crush on Bar.
Where do I even start as to how bad this series was. You can't help but notice how totally uninteresting both the lead actors and characters were from every aspect. Their chemistry is non existing, their romance is pathetic and their flirting and courtship scenes are dreadful. We are given no history whatsoever. Gun's creepy admission of his love for Bar is just the beginning of the mess. He comes across as a creep just lurking around Bar while he is college. I would be completely freaked by such people. And if Bar is so comfortable being straight guy that he is, why do his friends keep egging on to go out with Gun. And of course, there are all these side characters that add nothing but super annoyance to everything around this show. The whole episode around the faculty completion was so not needed at all. It's like someone saw. Lot of BL shows, picked up thing here or there and decide to create a story out of it.
This feels like a total amateur job. I thankfully rushed through the last two episodes because no one in their right mind can sit through this atrocity. Completely avoid. (1/10)
