The plot is about as basic as it gets. We follow a guy named Sam who is stuck in a major emotional rut. He has been in a steady, loving relationship for years, but he can't stop obsessing over his ex, Travis. Apparently, Travis was the one who really set his heart on fire, and those memories just won't go away. Meanwhile, Travis is also stuck in the past and decides he’s going to track Sam down to see if they can rekindle things. Sam ends up caught between the safe, comfortable life he has now and the intense passion he remembers from his old flame. Eventually, his current partner catches on to what’s happening and drops an ultimatum: Sam has to figure out if he’s going to keep living in the past or actually commit to a future together.
I honestly don't even know where to start with how bad the acting and direction are. It’s filmed at one of those generic resorts that seem to show up in every low-budget production, and most of the scenes are either shot in a cramped room or in pitch-black darkness with people just wandering around. It feels like every single male character has a mandatory five-minute shower scene just so they can show off their gym bodies to the camera. Then they throw in the typical trans characters purely for comic relief, but none of the jokes land—I’d be surprised if anyone even cracked a smile. The two leads are good-looking guys, sure, but they definitely cannot act their way out of a paper bag. The real issue here is the writing and the person behind the camera. It feels like a group of friends just gets together every couple of months to churn out a new series, hoping one of them eventually sticks. As someone who watches a lot of content, I have zero interest in wasting my life on this kind of garbage. There is no depth, no quality, and nothing to keep you engaged. (1/10)
