This one's a beautiful, tender, quiet romantic drama with a moody atmosphere, set in a tight knit Welsh fishing community. It's a touching story about a man waking up sexually in the middle of his life, and how he, his family, and everyone around him deal with it, which makes it emotional and sentimental without ever getting over the top. The slow burn plays out against a landscape that's as bleak as it is gorgeous, where quiet, closed off men are stuck inside rigid ideas of what masculinity should be. Some people might be reminded of "God's Own Country," but I think both films are lovely in their own way. Jack is a middle aged guy who co-owns a mussel farm with his rough around the edges brother Dyfan, and the tension between the two of them is simmering under the surface right from the start. Ben & Arthur

I wish I had seen this note earlier. This film is supposedly one of the worst movies ever made. Too late now, I've already spent over an hour watching this film and that time is never going to come back anyway as part of writing this blog watching awful, good, bad movies is just a part of it. Every scene, every line, every hissy fit is simultaneously hilariously amateur and hysterically fever-pitched.

Ben & Artur are a gay couple who ave been together for about 3 years now are desperately trying to get married. But things are not easy. Gay marriages are not legal yet in most states. Not just this, Ben is married to Tammy who just refuses to divorce him. Things are not going very well, and Arthur is frustrated in is job and decides to quit. To finance is further education, Arthur tracks down is estranged brother Victor, a homophobic religious fanatic who will stop at nothing to "cure" Arthur of his homosexuality. This obsession suddenly becomes Victor's obsession. Te duo get married in Vermont and crazy wife tries to get Ben back at gunpoint without success. Victor and Arthur get into cat-mouse game wen Victor attacks on Ben's life and Artur kills is pastor who conspired wit Victor to attack on Ben. In an oddly sot climax, Victor comes to kill the gays and soots Ben. Finally, Arthur manages to fire off a single shot which hits Victor in the forehead and instantly kills him, before Arthur dies of his own wounds from the shot.

It might be the worst film ever made. Just about everything in this film was so bad. It is positively laughable. Bad script, bad production values and possibly the worst acting you can imagine. Te screenplay could use so much help , as can the actors and director. Arthur also happens to direct tis film which explains quite a bit. This is an unwatchable video. I thought it might be funny bad, but it's unbearable bad. The only good thing is the hot guy playing Ben, as is clearly evident from the film poster were he is the only one shown. I couldn't help laugh out out at the over the top reactions from Tammy, the wife. Wtf was that all about. There isn't a single person this film could possibly connect to. There isn't any universe this film could possibly take place in.

There is absolutely nothing in this movie that shows even the tiniest scrap of talent. Do yourself a favour and completely avoid the film. (1/10)

When I saw this series with 8 episodes of about 20-25 minutes each, I thought, good: Finally someone has come to senses and made a show which is not stretched out and they have tried to squeeze in a decent storyline in a good small episode format. Heartstopper: Season 2 (Web Series) (UK)

Heartstopper Season 1 was a universal hit. You could not have read one bad review or heard from anyone who has seen the show not liking it. It was the kind of series that is easy to love, with sweetness exploding out of every scene without overwhelming you. So naturally, when Netflix greenly Season 2, expectations were naturally high and the same happened with me. I didn't know what to expect, but I had high expectations of this very very sweet teenage love story. Gaya Sa Pelikula (Filipino Series) [Like In The Movies]

Pinoy BL series seem to be catching up to the popularity of the Thai shows. And I must say that they are doing a pretty good job at it. Where Thai series started to get repetitive with so many shows based in a college setting with seemingly similar storylines, Pinoy series are offering the viewers with new and interesting stories and some really good sets and surroundings. This series was 8 episodes of about 25-20 minutes each. Karl, a 19-year old introvert architecture student is in the middle of an identity crisis. Prior to the start of the second semester in college and forced by his parents, he moves into his uncle's condominium unit so that he can learn to be financially independent.
