It is honestly exhausting to sit through another terrible series like this. I have noticed the same group of actors popping up in several of these subpar Filipino BL projects before, and they just don't seem to get any better. The production value is bottom-tier, the acting is painful to watch, and there is hardly enough plot here to even justify calling it a show. I get that a lot of these were made as passion projects during or right after the pandemic, but it is 2026 now, and there is just no excuse for this kind of poor execution. It really should have just been a quick short film instead of stretching it out. At least it only has six episodes that run about 15 minutes each, so you can fly through it pretty fast if you’re unlucky enough to start it. The plot is about as basic as it gets. Oh my god!! What a utter piece of garbage this film was. Yes! I said it ! Unbelievable!! How can someone be so self-absorbed that they have no idea of what they are doing, or someone around them to tell the makers that they should not be doing what they are doing.

The story is straight forward. A young man travels from Ohio to Seattle for an interview. In the hotel, he meets a male prostitute, a young mysterious man, who talk about stuff, have sex and the guy leave sin the morning. Thats it!! Yes, trust me; Thats it!! This 70 min long film could easily be made into a 4 minute short film. How long can one watch the protagonist looking outside his window, or doing stuff on mobile or laptop, or just waiting for the elevator. The talking portions in the movie were barely 15-20 minutes. The rest is long yawning shots of random things. I feel that the makers in their mind thought that they are making a tribute to ‘Weekend’ or something (at least I get that feeling). The direction was sooooo bad. I am sure the film was made using iphone or something as an experimental home video, but no one should have any expectations at all form this film.

What a terrible waste of time for everyone. Do not even attempt to see. Usually in such films the saving grace is a hot sex scene but that also here is sooo boring and nothing to talk about or watch. (0/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground.
