It is honestly exhausting to sit through another terrible series like this. I have noticed the same group of actors popping up in several of these subpar Filipino BL projects before, and they just don't seem to get any better. The production value is bottom-tier, the acting is painful to watch, and there is hardly enough plot here to even justify calling it a show. I get that a lot of these were made as passion projects during or right after the pandemic, but it is 2026 now, and there is just no excuse for this kind of poor execution. It really should have just been a quick short film instead of stretching it out. At least it only has six episodes that run about 15 minutes each, so you can fly through it pretty fast if you’re unlucky enough to start it. The plot is about as basic as it gets. What have we come to? What were the producers thinking when they made this film? Every actor was so over the top and annoying that it was unbelievable that the director at any point didi not notice how bad acting every single member was doing. What a waste of time. Derik and Collin are a gay couple who produce TV shows and live in west hollywood. They are good friends with 2 other gay couple and they all hang out very often. Boyd is a psycho aspiring actor who would go to any lengths to get a role in their next production. Mistaking Boyd for Shawn ( a friend's cousin), Derik and Collin allow Boyd(now Shawn) to live in their house. Shawn is now secretly planning to do anything to get a role in their next production. WHat starts now is a series of ups and downs that happen in not just Derik and Collin's life but even their friends because Shawn makes sure that he seduces at least one of the member of the couple and create some misunderstanding. He to some extent manages to create a rift between the couple and blackmail them to give him a part in their show but as expected things come up in open. Every member is then honest to each other and the truth behind Shawn comes out and he is let go. You should have seen how over the top and annoyingly gay was Collin (or was it Derek). Not even a girl would walk or talk or roll her eyes like he would. Super bad. Then the main character of Shawn ha such annoying dialogues, and smile and even acting. It was just pathetic. The supporting guys were ok but again OTT. Agreed the movie is supposed to be spoof but audiences is supposed to laugh not get supremely annoyed. Completely avoidable. (1/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground.
