Honestly I can't believe we're still getting BL series this bad in 2026. This mini series runs about 7 to 8 episodes with a total runtime of just about an hour and it is so boring that I genuinely struggle to find the words. The actors are awkward, the story is as basic as it gets and there is almost nothing about this show worth saving. The makers do try to stir up some drama here and there but even that falls completely flat. Ho Won is a 23 year old university student who spots a man sitting alone at a gay bar and gets attracted to him. The man is Min U, a 33 year old who brushes Ho Won off immediately saying he's too young. Ho Won lies about his age and since he's made a bet with the bartender that he'll get this man home before the night is over, he switches tactics and eventually the two end up at Min U's place and sleep together. Despite being complete opposites in every way there's some kind of pull between them and they go on a couple of dates. But t...
Continuing with the trend of feel good vertical shows, here comes one more. I am enjoying these, since you dont have to use too much of your brain. They are simple stories involving love, misunderstanding, a mandatory third guy who could be the negative lead, a chance hook up and a very happy ending. And most importantly, almost all of these shows (or the ones I have seen so far) have some really hot and good looking leads, which makes the viewing even more pleasurable. But of you take these seriously, this wil just be comical nonsense.
Rookie agent Ryan is assigned to investigate powerful CEO Vincent. A chance kissing dare brings Ryan and Vincent together. To avoid a public scandal, Vincent proposes a fake marriage to Ryan to save his company, which Ryan agrees hoping that this way he can investigate Vincent. To stay on the case, he goes undercover as an intern at Vincent's company-only to find that another new guy Thomas is mistaken as the CEO's lover. He actually likes this since this way he can continue his investigation. Vincent meanwhile, is slowly falling in love with Ryan and really cares about him and you can see that Ryan also Strats to feel similar especially since Vincent shows so much attention to him. After a misunderstanding, Thomas' secret comes out and he is fired with Vincent telling everyone at office that Ryan is his husband. That ight they both have sex and realize that they love each there. But scarred Thomas hopes an investigator and blows Ryan's cover. Heartbroken Vincent throws him out. FBI suddenly raids Vincents company and puts him house arrest. Ryan is apologetic and promises to make things right. His investigation leads to his senior in FBI working with Thomas to plant fraud financial transactions in Vincent's company and they are then both arrested. The two lovers reunite and profess their deep love.
Set in London, I am not sure what FBI is doing there, but silly things aside, I liked how the story is so unbelievable but also very inviting at the same time. It moves at a fast pace where sometimes everything feels rushed, but then personally, I feel that it is good. Nothing is dragged out and you know that he makers are going to come to the point soon. I will take this anyway over multi episode long drawn out Asian BL's with multiple story lines. The office banter was funny, especially when they treat Thomas well and Ryan just as an intern. The chemistry between Vincent and Ryan is crackling. Vincent is especially extremely hot and super gorgeous. Him and Ryan are both quite decent actors, but I think they now deserve some serious, better scripts so that they can show us their talent. Till that comes, I am quite happy to continue watching these vertical format, few minute multi episodes series (I watch them in a joint film format). (5/10)
