Honestly I can't believe we're still getting BL series this bad in 2026. This mini series runs about 7 to 8 episodes with a total runtime of just about an hour and it is so boring that I genuinely struggle to find the words. The actors are awkward, the story is as basic as it gets and there is almost nothing about this show worth saving. The makers do try to stir up some drama here and there but even that falls completely flat. Ho Won is a 23 year old university student who spots a man sitting alone at a gay bar and gets attracted to him. The man is Min U, a 33 year old who brushes Ho Won off immediately saying he's too young. Ho Won lies about his age and since he's made a bet with the bartender that he'll get this man home before the night is over, he switches tactics and eventually the two end up at Min U's place and sleep together. Despite being complete opposites in every way there's some kind of pull between them and they go on a couple of dates. But t...
Surely, we all wanna encourage people to Gove it all to their creativity, but please please, at least have a tight script ready. If you have a proper story, then even with a tight and low budget, you can make something meaningful. This 4 episode of 15 minute each seemed just like a paper thin idea, was shot and presented without having a clear idea of what is it really that the maker is trying to say.
Kyle's boyfriend Liam disappeared from his life suddenly 2 years back and he misses him. Out of blue, one day Liam calls him and asks him to meet. Surprised Kyle agrees to meet and Liam tells him that he is getting married soon, and would like to spend one full week with Kyle to relive all their loving memories together. Kyle, who is already furious about his disappearing and not knowing the reason, reluctantly agrees. We are told that it was Kyle's father who made Liam leave town and his son otherwise he would kill him since he doesn't approve of their relationship. When Kyle finds this out, he is sad that Liam didn't even try to fight for their love. Eventually on the day of the wedding Liam finally gets courage and promises to be with Kyle and love him forever.
This story has way too many loopholes. Understood that a father didn't approve of his son being gay and asks Liam to disappear; but in this day and age, one can surely touch base with your love and explain the situation on what happened. An then why after two years Liam appears again, again to just spend time with Kyle. This just didn't make sense. Also in their supposed one week together, they fool around like high school kids and not like passionate ex lovers who should be all over each other in their limited time. The father re-appear again, talks some gibberish to both his son and Liam. Liam chickens out again only to find strength at the end. I mean, things were just happening in this show of uno rhyme or reason. Sure, let's support new talent, new production, new stories; but please at least have a story and get some good talent. Here, at least the two lead actors did a decent job. Sadly, same can't be said of the other 3 character actors. They were terrible. The only good thing about the show is that it ends pretty quick. Overall, this show is easily skippable. (2.5/10)
