This is the second vertical AI BL drama I've sat through, and honestly I went in knowing better. I had it on while I was doing cardio at the gym, and what struck me was just how much the plot echoed the last one I watched. Same step brother romance angle, same mystery girlfriend showing up near the end, same extra guy pining after one of the leads. Genuinely the only thing going for it was the runtime, the whole thing wrapped up in forty five minutes flat. The setup kicks off with Finn moving schools because his mom just married into money. He finds out his new step brother Aiden goes to the same place, and he's warned to keep his distance from him. Their first run in at school is rocky, just like you'd expect, but there's this odd pull between them neither can shake off. Finn keeps telling himself not to read into it because Aiden's straight and openly homophobic. Things shift when some kids start bullying Finn and the student council president, Ryan, steps in to ...
Words cannot express how bad this series was. I mean, really. 27 episodes and over 20 hours of watching time, this series really tests out one's patience. The story line is all over the place, the acting is pure bad and the less said about direction, the better. This show started out really cringe, and just got progressively worse. You get an idea.
Joey is a country boy who comes to live in a boys dormitory. By bad luck, he is forced to hare his room with Jimmy. They hate each other initially but become cordial after a while. Eventually Another boy in the dorm Will starts pursuing Joey and soon they are a couple. Meanwhile this other boy Nuan from school also is in love with Joey. It turns out Jimmy had slept with a girl who is now pregnant. To hide this from everyone, they bring the girl in their room, she even delivers and continue to raise the baby with her without anyone knowing. The friends and other boys find out but they are supportive but Will is unto some evil plans since he doesn't like the closeness between Joey and Jimmy. The baby's mother suddenly disappears leaving the boys to fend for the baby with help from the dorm's momma. At some point Will is unto no good to hurt Joey (unclear). Joey breaks up with him and out of nowhere he gets together with Jimmy.
One thing that shocked me in this series and is almost comical is that every single guy in the show is falling for Joey. He is not even remotely cute or good looking or anything exciting about him but randomly everyone wants to be with him. It was a joke. The story (if there is any) takes forever to build up and the scenes are long drawn. Will and Joey have zero chemistry while they are supposed to be in love for almost 20 episodes. The dubbing is poor where you can hear so much background static noise. The production quality is bad, editor probably slept through his job and seems like no one in the show could care less. It was going all over the place. There was no real resolution for any of the characters. All supporting actors were bad. I don't even know why Jimmy is being portrayed as one of the central character along with Joey when he barely has much to contribute.
I can’t stress enough how bad this show was. It is simply awful and unacceptable for a show released in 2020 and too long of a commitment to sit through. Do not be fooled by some random glowing reviews you will see online. Anyone who thinks this show is any good, needs to get themselves checked. (1/10)

Although in all fairness, I stilll have so much old backlog to watch and review, I just don't have enough time . ;)
I can't recommend a movie but there is a very good norvegian series (not a bl!) I can suggest if you haven't seen it : Øyevitne. The gay couple is central to the story even if it's not only focused around them. Just don't watch the american or french version, the original norvegian version is the best imo.
My poor Golu, it's not a list of films and recommended series to watch you must have now, it's a whole encyclopedia lol.
