Honestly I can't believe we're still getting BL series this bad in 2026. This mini series runs about 7 to 8 episodes with a total runtime of just about an hour and it is so boring that I genuinely struggle to find the words. The actors are awkward, the story is as basic as it gets and there is almost nothing about this show worth saving. The makers do try to stir up some drama here and there but even that falls completely flat. Ho Won is a 23 year old university student who spots a man sitting alone at a gay bar and gets attracted to him. The man is Min U, a 33 year old who brushes Ho Won off immediately saying he's too young. Ho Won lies about his age and since he's made a bet with the bartender that he'll get this man home before the night is over, he switches tactics and eventually the two end up at Min U's place and sleep together. Despite being complete opposites in every way there's some kind of pull between them and they go on a couple of dates. But t...
First of all, this is a true sequel, unlike many sequels out there. Its deeply connected with what happened in part 1 and hence if you have not seen the original, this one would not make sense. Having said that, its very clear that the story line is really paper thin and to stretch it out for a full length feature, even lot more sex scenes have been added from the first one and many of them just for the heck of it.
Aoyama and Haruto are now together. But the day they had decided to leave for good, Aoyama disappears. Enter Shibahara in Haruto's life who claims to know everything about Aoyama. Shibahara tells him that he was school friends and lover with Aoyama and taught him everything about the gay hustler life and how Aoyama came to be who he was. He also tells Haruto that Aoyama is dead since he was planning to steal the money of the gay club. He offers Haruto an opportunity to run a new club "Rain and Soda", like the one he used to work in. HE also offers one of his boy Ruka, a mysterious pole dancer to help him out. We later find out that Ruka was also a lover of Aoyama before he met Haruto and circumstances had led him to star working as a trick. Meanwhile, Seiya, the hustler who had bit off Haruto's dick is hiding in oblivion with his current lover, who incidentally meets Haruto for a job in his club. Haruto asks Shibahara to help him eliminate humbug is really shocked to learn that even getting Haruto's dick cut off was part of a larger plan by Aoyama. The film ends with Shibahara sleeping with Haruto to understand what is it about this boy that made Aoyama crazy for him.
To be honest, the script of this film, if gone with someone intelligent could have made for a very good tout thriller. They have tried to come up with interesting twists and turns, but failed in execution. Random sex scenes keep appearing that last forever and they completely disrupt the flow of the story. Many new characters are introduced here but they all have some connection to the past, which was good to see. Overall it was as silly and weird but not as dark as the first one. This has more sex (as if that was possible) from its predecessor. There are plenty cringeworthy scenes including the goat guy who makes a comeback here. To give credit where its due, the acting by almost most actors is not half as bad as I have seen in many many other films including Japanese and other Asian products. So at least that was a saving grace. Now this has become one of those bad movies, that you cringe while watching, sometimes laugh in embarrassment and constantly ask yourself, WTF!!! But also can't wait to watch the third and final part, to see how will they end this mess. (3.5/10)
